Perfect Blue

I know exactly what I want from movies--fun.  That's why I steer clear of thrillers.  Psychological thrillers in particular.  I tend to get really invested in the movies I watch and investing in anything mind boggling means I'll walk around for the next 24 hours with a boggled mind.  Not a pleasant thing, mind you.  So when I picked out an anime film in German (thinking I'd hit two birds with one stone--have fun and learn), I hadn't thought in my wildest dreams that I'd picked one of those mind boggle-rs I've been trying so hard, and with lots of success, that is, up until now, to avoid.  I had no clue!  There I was innocently enjoying my time when suddenly, people started dying.  I was too far into the movie that it was too late to just quit.  I had to know--but alas, it was not to be.  As with EVERY SINGLE MOVIE IN THIS GENRE, it left me hanging dry, flipping around in the wind of confusion and dissatisfaction.  Yes, only clear and concrete endings make me happy.

If I had wanted to be given the liberty to invent my own ending--or deduce it myself--I'D WRITE MY OWN STORIES!

But all in all, the movie was good.
