Introduction to Bisaya Grammar: the Definite Article "Ang"

Unlike German, which has three forms of the article "the", der, die, das, Bisaya has only one:  Ang.

German:  Der Löffel. (Masculine)
               Die Gabel. (Feminine)
               Das Messer. (Neutral)

English:  The spoon. (Neutral)
             The fork. (Neutral)
              The knife.  (Neutral)

Bisaya:  Ang kutsara. (Neutral)
             Ang tinidor. (Neutral)
             Ang kutsilyo. (Neutral)

Simple, is it not?

When Friction Says No

It means no.  And for me it mean diving headlong onto the wet pavement at the side of the street.  The right side of my body hurt like it crashed against concrete at the speed of... never mind the speed.  But thank goodness I bike at a glacial pace.

Today I'm giving in to post traumatic stress--because the sun is feeling like extending its holiday behind the clouds and the wind seems to have a personal vendetta on everyone too eager to dress for summer.
